Introduction to Services European Road Freight: WILGO operates road groupage services throughout Europe including daily services to/from Belgium, Holland, Ireland, France and Luxembourg and a minimum of twice weekly services to/from Italy, Germany, Poland, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern European countries. Full Load 13.6 Metre Trailer Services can be arranged throughout Europe. Airfreight: The office and warehousing facility at London (Heathrow) Airport is staffed by a team of experienced people used to dealing with the high demands of handling urgent cargo. Becoming an approved registered cargo agent of IATA in 1985 was a major step in the expansion of this division. Regular consolidations are operated to/from the USA, Europe and the Far East at competitive rates. The fully alarmed warehouse is security approved with CCTV cameras inside and out and has special 'ram-raid' posts for extra protection. Being equipped with a dedicated X-ray machine enables all air export consignments to be security checked 'on the spot' and shipped without delay thus complying with the compulsory security check required by all airlines. WILGO is approved as a Listed Air Cargo Agent by the Department of Transport. Sea Freight: The Deep Sea department is based at the Head Office in Wickford, Essex. LCL and FCL services to/from all major destinations worldwide are covered with special emphasis on the Far East and USA markets. All staff are fully conversant in every aspect of shipping procedures together with legal documentation, Letter of Credit and International Customs' requirements etc. WILGO can offer very competitive rates for both import and export sea freight traffic due to substantial buying power. Logistics & Warehousing: Warehousing, Pick and Pack, Long Term Storage and Distribution are available at Heathrow, Wickford and Shenstone depots for all types of cargo. All consignments are collected/delivered throughout the UK on a 24/48 hours basis to/from all WILGO depots. Contact is maintained with the drivers at all times so that customers can be updated with the status of their consignments. Customs Clearance Facilities: The WILGO Dover Office specialises in Customs Clearance and is directly computer linked to all major ports and ICDs throughout the UK. Help and advice are offered on the best solutions for import and export consignments including Tariff Specifications and Rates of Duty etc. This office also facilitates ancillary customs services such as Intrastat and REDS for EU movements. All airfreight customs clearance formalities are handled in-house at the WILGO London (Heathrow) Airport office. Sales & Marketing: An experienced Sales Team supports all services and WILGO takes pride in processing every enquiry promptly and efficiently. Key personnel regularly travel overseas to meet with appointed agents worldwide in order to remain updated with local requirements and to make joint sales visits to customers.
